AVOLIO GEORGE P. Age 84, of Crescent, passed on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 at home after a lingering illness. Born in West Aliquippa on Dec. 31, 1928, he was son of the late Philip and Philomena (DeChellis) Avolio. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by children, George and Kelly; siblings, Lucy Joyce, Bertha Augustine, Mafalda Vukovcan, Pat and Ralph Avolio. Beloved husband of Franny (Rowe); cherished father of Erin; and adored grandfather of Carly Siclari; brother of Rose Arnold and Philip (Shirley) Avolio. George served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of Local #3 Ironworkers. Memorial visitation Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 9:30 a.m. at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd., with Military Honors. Rev.
