BERKEY JOAN GRIGG 87, of Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Atlanticare accompanied by her son and daughter. She was born on September 24, 1926, long- term resident of Cape May County, NJ and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Bruce, in 1995; her longtime companion, Louis Clelland, in 2012; and her daughter, Jan Berkey, in 2008. She is survived by her sister, Jan Cleveland; daughter, Cris (Scott); her son, Jack (Terri); grandchildren, Gabriel, Bryan, Justin, Sean, Lucas, Nathan, Daniel, Chelsea, K.C.; and many great-grandchildren. Joan was the longtime owner of The Happy Hunt, a Stone Harbor family business operated with the help of her children, grandchildren, and fond employees. She treasured the relationships she developed over the course of her lifetime and the lives she touched in her daily routine. She will be dearly missed.
