PASTOR LEO J. Of Scott Township, age 95, passed away peacefully at Country Meadows in Bridgeville on July 2, 2013. Leo was born in 1918 in Carnegie and lived his early life there. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Marguerite, just shy of their 70th wedding anniversary; he was a wonderful loving father to Craig (deceased) and Judy. A member of the "greatest generation", Leo was a WWII Army veteran. He managed several A & P grocery stores in the Pittsburgh area for many years, and later directed the Central Supplies Department of the Chartiers Valley School District. Leo's life-long passion was golf. His longevity is attributed to many a morning spent walking the hills of South Park Municipal Golf Course, as well as many winters of golfing in Destin, Florida. Leo will be remembered as a terrific golfer, good neighbor, loving husband, and great Dad. Memorial service will be held July 11 at 10:30 a.m. Country Meadows, 3570 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, Bldg. 2 , Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to LEO J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, Carnegie. www.leohenneyfuneralhome.com Send condolences at post-gazette.com/gb
