SCHIFFMAN RUTH ROSENBERG On Sunday, February 2, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Schiffman; cherished mother of Carl R. (Roni) Schiffman, Frank E. (Adina) Schiffman and Frances A. Schiffman; sister of Beatrice Seligson of Boca Raton, FL, the late J. Edgar Rosenberg and Milton Rosenberg; grandmother of Suzanne C. Schiffman, M.D., Jason (Jennifer) Schiffman, Esq., Jill Schiffman (Jared) Rosenthal, Esq., Daniel S. Schiffman, Esq., Samuel I. Schiffman and Marlo E. Schiffman; also survived by nieces and nephews. Ruth was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Cum Laude and a member of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. She was a history teacher at Peabody High School for over 20 years. She was a member of Beth El Congregation as well as Hadassah. Ruth will be remembered as a sweet and loving person who was kind to all. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside, on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to Services (12 Noon - 1 p.m.). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery.
