WEAVER CINDY S. 60, of Duncannon, PA, passed away on February 1, 2014, at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence in Harrisburg, PA, after a seven-month battle with inflammatory breast cancer. Cindy was born in Lancaster, PA to the late Charles and June (Barley) Ferich. She graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 1971 and Elizabethtown College in 1975. It was at Elizabethtown College that she met her husband, Rick. Cindy and Rick were married on May 18, 1974, and moved to Duncannon in 1978. Cindy is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Richard K. Weaver. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Sovanna Mam of Harrisburg; and their son, Elijah, as well as her son, Geoffrey Weaver of Duncannon; and his children, Olivia and Kenneth. Cindy loved shopping for antiques, and primitive and country-style decorating. She combined these passions and opened Walnut Creek Collectibles in her home in 1990. She was also one of the original vendors at the Old Sled Works when it opened in 1991 in Duncannon, PA. She spent a lot of time at the Sled Works and befriended many vendors and customers alike. Her presence there will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2014 at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, 1492 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA.
