PYCH ELAINE M. (PETROZZA) Age 89, of West Mifflin, PA, on February 2, 2014, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born in Duquesne, PA, to the late Anthony and Anna (Mecuri) Petrozza. Elaine was a retired secretary from Edison Junior High School, West Mifflin, and was a member of Christ The Light of the World Parish in Duquesne. Church was a central part of her life, especially as an original member of the Ephesians IV, Prayer Group, which meets Monday evenings at St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to the late Frank Pych, who died on December 31, 1998; loving mother of Paulette (James) Barry of Jefferson Hills, Francine (David) Salata of Robinson Twp. and Beth Ann (Donald) Coley of West Mifflin; proud and cherished grandmother of Matthew (Melanie) Coley, Nathan (Laura) Coley, Jacob Salata, Benjamin Salata, and Rebekah Coley; great-grandmother of Ella and Avery Coley; sister of Michael “Mickey” (Steffie) Petrozza of West Mifflin, Gemma (late Jack) Senay of West Mifflin, late Alfred (late Jeanne Patrozza) Wood, late Marion (late Carole) Petrozza; also nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and dear friends. Visitation Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300. Funeral Friday, February 7, 2014. Prayers at funeral home at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Church, Duquesne, with Rev. Dennis Colamarino, officiating. Interment Holy Name Cemetery, beside her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ The Light of the World Parish, 32 S. First St., Duquesne, PA 15110.
