McGORAN GERALD W. JERRY Age 83, of Dormont, on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Former husband of Joyce McGoran and the late Shirley Triggs; devoted father of Thomas (Alycia) Mclellan, Robert (Karen) Mclellan, John (Linda) McGoran, William McGoran, Jennifer McGoran (Donald) Kelly, Shawn (Krissy), Cullen and Kevin McGoran, the late Marjorie Mclellan, and Gerald D. McGoran; also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother of Genevieve Prahl, the late Alvina Poland, Maryann Kreimendahl, and Shirley Mandell. Jerry was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, a Past Commander of the Dormont VFW and a retired Postal Worker. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Saturday evening 5-7 p.m. and Sunday 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Beechview, Monday morning at 10 o'clock.
