CASE EMMA JANE (ASTON) Of McKeesport, formerly of Duquesne and Glassport, walked through the gates of Heaven on both legs, Tues., March 4, 2014! Jane was born Sept. 1, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Rowland and Pearl (Leader) Aston and was the wife of the late Walter (Sonny) Case. Her brother, Bud Aston of Duquesne, preceded her in death. She is dearly missed by her sister, Nina (Irene) Cain; daughter, Cheryl (Frank) Gironda; grandson, Eric (Cindy) Gironda; great- granddaughter, Erin Gironda; great-grandson, Ryan Gironda, all of White Oak; several nieces and nephews, two of whom had become especially close to her heart, Ehren Romano and Angela Bukovac. Jane loved worshiping her Lord in church, serving Him by counseling people, a skill she learned while she served as Site Coordinator at Glassport Senior Citizens Center many years ago, and sharing her love of Jesus with everyone she met. Many will remember her as a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls in Duquesne and Liberty Boro. In recent years, she enjoyed being a member of both Community L.I.F.E. in McKeesport and Life Span at Olympia, playing games with her friends at Steelview, and visiting with friends in her apartment building. Friends received WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Glassport, Fri. 2-4 and 6-9. A Funeral Service will be held Sat. 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Josephine Whitely-Fields.
