WALSH JAMES FRANCIS JF Frank Walsh slept away to be with his Lord March 3, 2014. He was born March 27, 1919, the oldest child of Joseph and Elizabeth (Bahl) Walsh of Dushore, PA. He was married to his beloved wife, Eileen (Dowling) Walsh for 59 years at the time of her death in April of 2010. Preceded in death by his brothers, Cyril and Edward, he is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Walsh) Egan of Binghamton, NY; his son, Michael (JoAnn); grandchildren, Kate (Chris Griffin), Kelly (Jeff Botta), Daniel and Brian, as well as great- grandchildren, Reyah, Samuel and Michael Griffin. Frank was an avid hunter, golfer, handyman and outdoorsman. He lost an Air Force commission due to a severe eye injury and served in the Navy during WWII on a destroyer in the North Atlantic. He was an executive with General Adjustment Bureau and former owner of A.H. Neaman Company public insurance adjusters. Member of St. Margaret Mary and a former senior club champ at Montour Heights CC. He was an insatiable reader and learner who never met a stranger. Visitation Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 12 p.m. at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd. Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors.
