STIMMEL RUTH C. (BAKER) Age 83, of Plum, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Walter "Bud" Stimmel; mother of Kurt (Shari) Stimmel, Tom (Connie) Stimmel, Amy Bush and Beth (Tim) Hengelsberg; grandmother of Sarah (Steve), Chad (Nadia), Marc, Courtney, Meghan, Andrew (Vanessa), Cydney, Hannah, Hailey, Lee, Aaron and Jessica; great-grandmother of Cyahh, Leah, Christian, Nicolette, Cecilia, Novena, Gavin and Marissa; sister of Pauline (Bill) Vipond; sister-in-law of Helen Stimmel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was an active member of Trinity Tower United Methodist Church and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. As the matriarch and cornerstone of her family, she was their hero. Friends received Saturday 5-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd.
