LIEBMANN JAMES M. Of Forest Hills, age 63, on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of Karen (Karczewski) Liebmann for 41 years; loving father of Eric (Jennifer) Liebmann of Mt. Lebanon and Kurt (Melanie) Liebmann of West Mifflin; proud grandfather of Alex Liebmann; brother of Jon (Carolyn) Liebmann of OH and Jeffrey (Jodi) Liebmann of MI. Jim was a Vietnam War era Navy veteran and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology. Jim was a former staff member of the Graduate School of Public Health at Pitt and for the past 20 years he has been a Microbiologist for UPMC-Presbyterian. Since 1989, Jim has been a volunteer Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop #90 in Forest Hills. Jim has been a bass singer and member of the Teutonia Mannerchor of the Northside and also was a former cantor and member of the Schola Choir at St. Maurice Church. Friends are welcome to a memorial visitation on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at PATRICK T.
