CRADDOCK G. VINCENT Age 85, of Monroeville, on July 6, 2013. Loving husband of 60 years to Patricia (Hunnell) Craddock; devoted father of Gary (Takami) Craddock, Lynn (Fred) Lanier, and Dan (Gretchen) Craddock; proud grandfather of Brent (Lindsay), Patrick, Kasey, Christopher, and Ellette; great- grandfather of Caroline; brother of the late James (surviving spouse, Shirley) Craddock and the late Kathleen (late David) Gemperle; uncle of Sharon, Tim, Kathy, David, Jim, and Kathleen "Gigi". A Navy WWII Veteran, Vince enlisted in 1946 and shipped out on his 18th birthday for the Pacific on the USST Mt. McKinley for 18 months, where his group was involved in the initial Atomic Bomb testing on Bikini Island. An incredible work ethic was rewarded by positions in Joy Manufacturing and Dresser Industries, but his career was highlighted when he launched Airpower of Pittsburgh, a highly respected family business where his customers were treated as part of his family. Vince will be remembered with great fondness for his quick wit and ready laugh! Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (Monroeville/Plum Chapel) corner of 445 Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412 856-4747). A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at North American Martyrs. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
