HUGHES REESE A. 99, of Pitcairn, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late William R. and Emma Thompson Hughes; husband of the late Mary Stewart Hughes. Reese is survived by his children, Mary Lou (Chuck) Heasley and William (Linda) Hughes; grandchildren, Chuck, Bill (Lisa), Scott and Eric Heasley, Ryan and Devin Hughes; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Cheyanne Heasley, Marley, Reese and Isabelle Hughes. Reese was a World War II veteran, an employee of WABCO for 45 years. Reese raised beagles and belonged to Crowfoot & Franklin Beagle Club. Friends received Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 318 Wall Avenue, Pitcairn, where services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Cyndi Bloise officiating.
