McCORMICK GERTRUDE F. (SCHELINSKI) Age 101, of Center Twp., formerly of Richland Twp., peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Arleigh (Ron) Eddy of Parker, PA; daughter, Polly (John) Hicks of Center Twp.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Josephine Vulakovic of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, John and Frances (Miller) Schelinski, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. McCormick; daughter, Sharon Bednarski; one granddaughter; and her siblings, Ethel Wibel, Dorothy Woldring, Margaret and Edward Schelinski, and Sylvester and Charles Shilling. Gertrude's family will welcome friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014, at the KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road in Gibsonia.
