ROPAR JANET L. Age 80, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Born February 3, 1934, in Franklin, PA, she is the daughter of the late Aus and Edna (Reed) Pence. Cherished mother of Joseph Ropar of Texas; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Ropar; and dear son, Mark Ropar. Janet was a dedicated nurse at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh for over 30 years in the Medical/Surgical Department. She was a longtime member of St. Nicolas Catholic Parish and active in the Holy Rosary Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Parish, 24 Maryland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
