BUECHEL JUNE (UNGER) Age 88, of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on April 9, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Cyril N. Buechel; her daughter, Sandra Hayes and her son-in-law, Fred of Allentown, Pennsylvania; grandson, Randy Hayes and his wife, Gretchen; and granddaughter, Allison Hayes; also, twin great-granddaughters, Reagan and Sloan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Unger; and sister, Marion Weir. June was an active member of St. Thomas A'Becket Church, where she was a member of the Ladies of Charity and assisted at the preschool for many years. She was also a member of the Jefferson Hills Women's Club. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Thomas A'Becket Church. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family suggests memorial donations in June's memory be made to The Ladies of Charity at St. Thomas A'Becket, 139 Gill Hall Rd., Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 or to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pgh., PA 15243.
