CONNELLY CHRISTOPHER, Jr. Age 62, of Pleasant Hills, died Monday, April 14, 2014, after a brief illness. He was the beloved brother of John Charles Connelly of Philadelphia, PA, Daniel and Marjorie Connelly, both of New York City; son of the late Christopher, Sr. and Ann Connelly of Pleasant Hills. Chris was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and attended Pennsylvania State University. He was a longtime clerk for the State of Pennsylvania, Dept. of Taxation. He was an avid reader of history and politics and a great fan of pop culture, particularly the music of the 1960s and 1970s. He was known to friends and family for his astute observations and strong opinions. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 400 Old Clairton Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, please make a donation in Chris's memory to the USO or the Pleasant Hills Library.
