BOYD ELMA CRAWFORD Age 99, of Pitcairn and Monroeville, died peacefully on April 26, 2014. Elma was born on April 1, 1915, in Pitcairn. She was the devoted daughter of LeRoy and Nannie Bracken Crawford as well as a dedicated wife to Ray L. Boyd, 1914-1968. Mrs. Boyd was a long standing member of the United Presbyterian Church of Pitcairn. She was also proud to be a past matron of the Corinth Chapter of Eastern Star. Elma centered her life around her relationship with God as well as her family. Many of her greatest joys came when she attended her children's and grandchildren's birthdays, graduations and weddings. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband. She is survived by her children, Terran Boyd (Linda Smeltz), Judith Boyd Cunningham (Robert), and Timothy Boyd (Anita); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Boyd (Jenn), Mark Boyd (Tiffany), Sarah Palermo (John), Cameron Boyd (Katie), Nathan Cunningham (Helena), and Rachel Cunningham Ewart (Elliott); and her 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014, from 2 to 4. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike.
