TURNER HARRIET (SMITH) Age 85, of Schenley Heights, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2014. Wife of the late Robert L. Turner; mother of Vaughna A. Simon; stepmother of Mary Fears Doss; sister of Mary Morris, Louise Tate, and Patricia Kelly, and the late Ada Cobbs, Joseph Smith, Earline Burleigh, and Irvin Smith; grandmother of Candice Grant (Roosavonta) and Clifford Simon, Jr.; great-grandmother of Mya and Lea Grant; also survived by two sisters-in-law, Alberta Smith and Willemae Smith; and a host of a nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 5, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church, 2629 Wylie Ave., Pgh., PA 15219, where a Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. Interment Allegheny Cemetery.
