Beloved husband for 52 years of Shirley (Shimko) Munch; son of the late Emile and Effie Munch; loving father of Karen (John) O'Donnell, Carol (Todd) Miller, and Kimberly (Michael) Pavlick; brother of Earl (Mary) Munch, Emil (late Delores) Munch, Sheila (Peter) Sichak, and the late Shirley (husband Donald survives) Keswick; grandfather of Mikenna, Aidan, Meghan, Garrett, Kaitlyn, and Veronica. Carl was a longtime engineer for the Children's Institute of Pittsburgh.
