She was a teacher and principal at Wendy's Nursery and Kindergarten School, Rodi Road, Penn Hills, PA. Wife of the late Paul Francis Shaffer; mother of Beth Ann Shaffer-Wise, Ohio and Paul Robert Shaffer, NC; five grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; sister of Bill Whipkey, Carmichaels, Don Whipkey, Waynesburg, PA, and Bob Whipkey, Charleston, WV.
