DETTORE HELEN LOUISE (KOSCO) Age 89, of West Homestead, on August 20, 2013. Born December 12, 1923 to the late George and Barbara (Timko) Kosco; beloved wife of the late Albert Dettore; loving mother of Gerald (Kathy) Dettore, Cynthia (Wayne) and Charmaine (Louis); sister of Marie Kivela, Elizabeth Mitrick-Cmar, Paul Kosko and Ethel Wahal and the late Ann "Honey Kay" Joehnig, John Koscho, George Kosco and Emil "Ump" Kosco; grandmother of Dawn (Jim) Daggett, Danielle (Jim) Smith, Nicholas Mark Louda and Dacia (Jason) Kreinbrook and the late Ann "Honey Kay" Jonehnig, John Koscho, George Kosco and Emil "Ump" Kosco; also six great-grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen and her husband Albert were the former owners of Dettore's Pizza in Munhall and several other locations, and also owners of many other businesses including Wohlfarth's Bakery Franchise, Gift Shoppes at Sheraton Inn Monroeville and Seven Springs Ski Resort. Helen also volunteered at St. John B.C. Church, St. Brendan Church, and Steel Valley High School Library and South Hills Health System. Her generosity and kindness was well known throughout the area. Friends received at the SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Thursday Noon - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Therese Church, Munhall at 10 a.m. with Fr.
