DARBY ALBERT A. Of McMurray, went to his eternal home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Beloved husband of Diana S. Darby; loving father of Diane K. (Richard) Smith of Murfreesboro, TN and David A. (Carol) Darby of Upper St. Clair; dear brother of Julia Bucher of Denver, CO; special brother-in-law of Barbara (John) Hocker of Bethesda, MD; cherished and devoted grandfather of Summer Smith, Kyle (Rachael) Smith, Justin (Becky) Darby, Derek Darby, and Stephen Darby. Al was a graduate of Kansas State University. He served two years as an infantry officer during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1995 after 40 years in the oil and gas industry, working for LTV Energy and Maverick Tube Corp. Among his favorite pastimes were sports, volunteering, church activities, and traveling. He was an active member of The Bible Chapel in McMurray. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and knew he was only transient on this earth, before going to spend eternity with his loving Father and Savior. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS.
