Son of the late Raymond A. and Flossie Ballard Rucker, Sr.; husband of Arlene Shackelford Rucker; father of the late Raymond Bruce Rucker. Preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Rucker Cottom, Robert Milton Rucker and Phyllis Glass. Besides his wife, Arlene, he is survived by many nieces and nephews. KINSEY REV. DAVID L. Age 76, on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Beloved husband of Peg; loving father of Laura (Ed) Stabell, Leslie Foley and David F. Kinsey; brother of Susanne (Rodger) Hollaway and the late Jayne Kinsey; grandfather of six. Rev. David L. Kinsey, 33rd Degree of Pittsburgh, PA, served as Potentate of Syria Shrine in 2006. He is Chaplain Emeritus of Syria and additionally served as Chaplain of Mid Atlantic Shrine Assoc., Imperial Chaplain and Grand Chaplain of Pennsylvania. In 1958 at the age of 22, Noble Kinsey was made Master Mason in South Hills Lodge 761. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh while stationed in Ft. Hood, TX. Kinsey received his 32nd Degree April 24, 1965. On this day, he became a Shriner. When he returned to Pittsburgh, Kinsey transferred his Scottish Rite membership to the Valley of Pittsburgh and his Shrine membership to Syria. On July 7, 2010, Kinsey was named “Shriner of the year of North America.” Kinsey is a member of the South Hills Masonic Lodge 761, Valley of Pittsburgh, Syria Shrine, Knights Templar, Royal Order of Scotland, Caravan 2, 4, 18 and 20, Jester's Court #2, Three Rivers Clan #53. In 2000, Kinsey received his 33rd Degree. Noble Kinsey returned to Pittsburgh in July of 1969 when he and his father purchased Moorhead Electrical Machinery Corp. He operated the business as president of Kinsey Electric, Inc. in Oakdale, PA. In 1972, he began his studies which would lead him to his ordination as a priest in 1978. He retired from St. Thomas Episcopal Church in 1994 having served the congregation for 25 years. He served this congregation in conjunction with operating Kinsey Electric. In 1985, Kinsey was named “Clergy Person of the Year.” After retiring from full-time ministry, he received a Citation of Achievement from the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. On February 5, 2012, Rev. David L. Kinsey was called to serve as Priest at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in McKeesport. KRAHE BERENICE H. (BROWN) 87, peacefully passed from this life to the next on February 6, 2014, surrounded by her family in Annapolis, Maryland. Berenice was born October 10, 1926, in Tarentum and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Natrona Heights, PA. Mrs. Krahe resided with her daughter, Betsy, in her home in Annapolis, MD. She was a former lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, PA. Berenice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis J. Krahe. She is survived by her nine children; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren: Berenice and Richard Annechini and children, Nicholas and Natalie Annechini and great-grand children, Hunter and Marlo; Christy and Jon Hoffman, and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia and Gavin; Kara and Mark Klaiber, and great-grandchildren, Caroline, Katie and Emily; Becky and James Shenk, Kristin Nell and Daniel Webb; Kathryn and Paul Vaughan and children, Jessica and Chris Marra and great-grandson, Everett and Matthew Vaughan; Betsy Krahe Burr; Mary Jo and Jerry Yarris and son, Gabriel Faccenda; Francis and Marilyn Krahe and children, Francis, Collin and Camille. MARINI SALVATORE "SAM" Age "98", of Beechview, on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Ginley) Marini; loving father of Patricia (Lawrence) Smith and Janet (the late Robert) Jenkner; devoted grandfather of Gary Mihalsky, Scott (Erin) Mihalsky, and Paul and Ryan Jenkner; great-grandfather of Dena, Jake, Tyler, Austin, and Johnny. Sam served in WWII guarding prisoners of war in Tennessee. For his community, he coached the Beechview Olsons, a semi-professional football team. His working career began as a bricklayer. Eventually, he owned and operated Marini Construction Company, specializing in sub-contract masonry work for commercial businesses, such as Today's Home, Bell Telephone, Arby's, and countless others. He was known among his colleagues as the "last gentleman of his trade." He was later joined in the company by his daughter, Patricia, working together for several years. Sam also built his own house as well as those of his daughters, brothers, and sister. He was a generous employer and supported several charities. At the age of 85, Sam joined the choir at St. Catherine of Siena Church, retiring when he was 96. He loved his wife and his family, devoting his life to their happiness and well-being. He was a good man, loved and respected by family, friends and employees. He will be greatly missed. As per Sam's wishes, there are no visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Inurnment private. Following a lengthy illness, she passed away at home surrounded by much of her loving and devoted family. Loving mother of daughters, Susan Muchmore (Freedman) and husband, Marc Freedman and Kathleen Muchmore (Toro) and husband, Reinaldo Toro; proud grandmother of Matthew Toro and wife, Jessica Steigerwald Toro, Michael, Joel, and Liza Toro; sister of Gregory Rizzo and the late Michael Rizzo; also survived by many loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Muchmore; parents, Michael Rizzo and Arvella Bloodough; and Wicker, her beloved dog. A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring in Utica, NY. She was a pioneer in giving a voice to those in need and was one of the original 125 Patient Advocates in the United States and was instrumental in passing the Patient Bill of Rights. She was a devoted friend and still dear friends with many of her high school friends, friends made in Flight Attendant School in NYC, and made from many different areas of her life. She was a strong woman, proud of her Sicilian heritage and grounded in family traditions. She loved her family with every core of her being and always said she would protect her babies like a mother bear protecting her cubs. Her children and grandchildren will lovingly remember her for her deep love of the Adirondack Mountains, Lake George, Upper Saranac Lake, Bartlett Carry Road, animals (she cried for all animals found alongside the road), good cooking, Dove Bars, The Florentine Bakery, The St. Lawrence River, camping, quality education for her children, The Godfather trilogy, reading, sailing, being utterly silly with her friends, ALL babies (family or a stranger's in a store), cabbage roses, Sunday drives while singing Carmen Miranda's Quanta La Gusta, and picnics in the snow. The list could go on forever because she was passionate about so many things that made her a beautiful and interesting person.
