MARSHALL ROBERT BOB JOHN Age 62, of Crafton, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Devoted husband to Dané (Frey); dedicated father to Claire Muszalski (Adam) and JohnRobert; charming Pap to Ava Muszalski; loving brother to Dick Marshall (Chris Hayes). Preceded in death by parents, Nelson and Irene Marshall. Bob's career path took many directions and he was a fearless entrepreneur since childhood, when he began a grass-cutting business with his lifelong friend, David Kollar. His professional career began in hospitality as a bellman at the Greentree Marriott, was promoted to bell captain, sales manager and then moved on to the William Penn Hotel. He opened Bob's Pizza Plus in Castle Shannon and then became sales manager at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport. He continued new directions in sales with Hallmark Cards, then subsequently opened Claire's Card and Gift downtown, Imperial Card Company, four flower shops, John Marshall Records, and Claire's Card and Gift in Crafton Ingram Shopping Center. He moved from Hallmark to Enesco, and then to Kurt S. Adler Giftware, and opened a showroom at the Monroeville Expomart. His dream was to open a diner, and opened Bobs on Noblestown Road while still working full-time. He worked for Quaker Steak and Lube, then later opened the Bellevue Diner, and began the Bob's Diner franchise with locations in Kennedy Township, Imperial, Carnegie, Painters Run Road, and Grove Road, followed by Bob's Donut Shop in Kenmawr Plaza. Personally, Bob was a passionate season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Pirates, stockcar fan (contributed to RPM Magazine), sang in the choir at Assumption Parish, taught Sunday School and was elected President of St. Philip Church Council (where he oversaw the restoration of the church for the centennial celebration), was on the faculty as a culinary instructor at CCAC, and hosted the Bob's Diner Radio Show on KQV and Food Fare with Bob and Claire on KDKA radio. He took pride in his irrational car collection, found great joy in becoming a member of the Lake Tomahawk Property Owners Association, was a member of the House Committee at Chartiers Country Club and a self-proclaimed bacon connoisseur. POCHIBA LOUIS A. Age 85, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, while under the care of the Southwestern Veterans Center in Pittsburgh. Born January 19, 1933, in Leechburg, he was the son of the late Joseph Steve and Mary Ann Murchak Pochiba. Lou was Catholic by faith and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, from 1953 to 1965, attaining the rank E-Sergeant. He taught other Air Force members how to deconstruct nuclear bombs. Lou also loved Polkas. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his four children, Robin (Mary) Pochiba of Kentucky, Kimberly (Paul) Szymczak of Zelienople, Richard Pochiba of Arnold and Tammy Moody of Butler; six grandchildren, Chris, Taylor, Charley, Kelvin, David and Nathaniel; two great- grandchildren, Austin and Nathaniel; four sisters, Rosemary Davis, Jo Ann Stevick, Mary Louise Waluk and Ethel Horak; and his companion, Kay Schutz. In addition to his parents, Lou was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Inez Gilbert Pochiba; and three brothers, Joseph Pochiba "Jr.", John Pochiba, and Silvester Pochiba. FALBO DOLORES M. (BRASKO) Age 82, earned her angel wings and was taken to her Heavenly home on Saturday, February 3, 2018, in her home surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. Dee had battled Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Dee was born in Coraopolis on May 2, 1935, to the late Andrew and Margaret F. (Kezmarsky) Brasko. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant daughter the late Cynthia Lynne Falbo; and her brothers, Robert and Alan Brasko. Dee married the love of her life on May 12, 1956, John F. Falbo, who survives. They have enjoyed 62 wonderful years of marriage making their home in Coraopolis. They have four devoted children: Donna Louise (Jack) Heinlein of Louisville, KY, John Raymond (Lisa) Falbo of Moon Township, David Edward Falbo of Coraopolis, and Janet Marie Falbo of North Hills. She was so proud to have nine grandchildren, John H. Heinlein, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Taylor, Michael Falbo, Mallory Turk Swanson (Koty Swanson), Danielle Turk, Michael Turk, and Lauren Nicole Petersen. Dee was great-grandma to Savannah, Addison and Alayna Swanson. She is also survived by her sister, Kathie Brasko (Bob) Crowe of Cream Ridge, NJ. Dee was a 1953 graduate of Coraopolis High School. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church and had a strong commitment to her faith. She was a member of Christian Mothers and Moon Township AARP. Dee was always up for a good time whether it be a trip to the casinos, cooking for friends, being high scorer of her bowling league or shopping at the outlets. Dee and John enjoyed winemaking at their home and sharing their homemade wine with family and friends. Dee's family was always top priority and she treated them like royalty. She loved when the family would gather, especially for the holidays. She always made everything special. Dee was energy. She loved people and loved to interact. She always had a merry twinkle in her eye. Dee, fit the term of a lady perfectly. This great lady will be missed. Please keep us all in prayer during our terrible time of loss. CORNELL MARGARET PEGGY Of Glenshaw, went home to be with our Lord and her beloved mother-in-law, Marie. She is bereaved by her husband of 58 years, William "Blue" Cornell; her children, Kim Cornell, Cassandra Cornell, and William Cornell, Jr.; her precious grandchild, Heather Cornell; her brother, William Duderstadt (Susie); her sister, Judy Barna; sister-in-law, Wilma Anastassopoulos (Nick); nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Although Peggy was a 50's housewife, she broke the glass ceiling in her own right, by being on the Shaler School Board, a soccer coach, and a referee. She went back to school at age 50 and earned a degree in Accounting and Bookkeeping. She then went on to be a successful customer service rep. for AT&T. Peggy was a veracious reader and was great at penny poker. She loved to fish, crochet, visit the thrift store, and be with friends. Most importantly, her life was her kids. Peggy was a strong-willed woman, who saw herself through many hardships in life. She will be remembered for her wit, thoughtfulness and her never ending love of friends and family. Brahm; wife of the late Milton Pilhashy; sister of Ray (Susan) Brahm and the late James Brahm; sister-in-law of Jeanne Caplan; aunt of Andy (Gretchen) Brahm, Jim (Natalie) Brahm, Anita (Patrick) Mallott, Kurt Brahm and Kristen (Mike) Rowe; also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no visitation. Service and interment were private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Bellevue. CARVILLE SISTER ANN, OSF On February 3, 2018, Sister Ann Carville completed her life of service and journey to God. Sister Ann was the daughter of Catherine Carville (deceased) of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Johnstown, PA. Sister Ann is survived by her uncle, John Carville, residing in South Carolina; and cousins, Sharen (Carville) Lehman of Denver, CO, Patricia (Carville) Lubawy of Pittsburgh, PA, Michele Carville of Pittsburgh, PA and Carol (Carville) Stohrer of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Robert Carville of Windber, PA; and grandmother, Caroline (Carville) Adams. Uncle Robert has three surviving children, Robert, Caroline and Anita. Sister Ann Carville entered the Millvale Franciscans from St. Joseph Parish in Johnstown, PA. Sister began her ministry by teaching in various Catholic schools in the Pittsburgh, Butler and Johnstown areas. After receiving advanced degrees in organizational development, Sister served as Executive Director of the Franciscan Federation from 1981 to 1988. From 1988 to 2001, Sister served as consultant for organizational development to various organizations including organizations in France, Italy, England, South Africa, and Jamaica. In 1997, Sister became Associate Director of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men Religious in the United States. She was the first woman to hold such a position in 41 years. In 2001 until 2007, Sister served as Community Minister to her own community, the Sisters of St. Francis in Millvale. From 2010 to 2018, Sister served as research analyst and organizational consultant for the National Religious Retirement Organization. Her gift of service to her sisters, to Franciscans and to the world was no less than extraordinary. She will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched. Her desire for excellence was exceptional. Her generosity was limitless and her friends many. Visitation at the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities, 146 Hawthorne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15209 on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of Wake at 6:15 -7 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Sisters of St. Francis on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Sister's Cemetery at Mount Alvernia.
