CHRISTINE ANN (KNAPP) LITTERAL Age 53, passed away on March 11, 2020. God has gained the most beautiful angel. Born in Akron, Ohio, she had lived in the Clinton area for the past 30 years. Chris was a graduate of Akron North High School. She had worked at Sunrise Accounting, where she loved all her clients. Chris was a member of St. Columbkille R.C. Church. She enjoyed kick-boxing, dancing to a different drummer and girls nights. Chris had a talent of destroying lawnmowers and loved her garden. Chris had a real hug and smile for all. Her happiest of days were when she was with her family and friends. She was the light of our lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Janet Knapp; sister, Karen Knapp; and mother-in-law, Irene Litteral. Jim is survived by his sister, Marlyn (Mim) Schmidt, brother, John (Jack) Ryan, partner, Judith Baskett, his friend and “kiddo”, Erin Clark-Burrow. Jim also had a large group of friends that he considered family, including Beth Kramer (Clark) and Allison Catone (Clark), the “Beach Bunch” and his fishing buddies. Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Delores Ryan, his mother, Wilma Ryan, brother, Howard Ryan, and his sister, Lorraine Straughn. WILLIAM H. SCHULTHEIS Age 76, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020. He was born in Pittsburgh on March 27, 1943 and is the son of the late William C. and Mildred A. Schultheis. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Stuckwish Schultheis; brother of Sandra (Samuel) Pursglove; uncle of Samantha (Robert) Westerlund, Melanie (Luke) Marsh and Alexandra (Adam) Zaffuto. Before his long illness, Bill was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He once said, "When I die, I want my obituary to say don't send flowers, buy a kid a fishing rod." He was a good friend to all who knew him and a genuinely kind person. A memorial service will be held at a later date. BARBARA TILLMAN (HALDEMAN) "BUNNY" Passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Wife of the late Jack Marlow Tillman; mother of Jill Denholm Tillman; and sister of the late Betty Haldeman Raymond. She attended Peabody High School and was a graduate of Edgewood Park in Briarcliff Manor, New York and The Tobe Coburn School in New York City. Barbara was active with the Meals on Wheels program in the Blawnox area. She was past president of the Twenty Five Club Junior Committee, the Women's Golf Association of Oakmont Country Club and the Animal Rescue League Women's Auxiliary. PETER MICHAEL PEMBROOKE Of Upper St. Clair went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10. He was born in Braddock, PA on November 12, 1951, he was 68 years old. Peter was preceded in death by his father, Peter F. Pembrooke and his mother, Catherine Pembrooke (Milo). He is survived by his wife, Donna Pembrooke and his two brothers, Robert Pembrooke (Donna) of Plum and Jeffrey Pembrooke (Diane) of Level Green, his three children, Peter R. Pembrooke (Katie) of Lorton, VA, Laura Pembrooke of Pittsburgh and Stephen Pembrooke (Caroline) of Davidsonville, MD and three nephews and five grandchildren. He graduated from Turtle Creek High school in 1969 and graduated from the Naval Academy in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science and was a trained military pilot. He worked at the Pentagon and went on to receive his MBA from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh where he worked for Westinghouse, Alion, and retired from Life Cycle Engineering in 2013. He was as a marine engineer and was an expert in propulsion systems for military carriers and submarines. He was devoted to his family and his firm belief in God. He was an avid sportsman, hunter and history buff. He loved golfing, fishing, running, and was one of the smartest men we ever knew. This was evident if you ever watch Jeopardy with him. Once retired, he went to breakfast almost every morning and swam every day. He will be deeply missed by his family. He was a consummate story teller, loved to laugh, sing, and play guitar. He loved family dinners and loved Donna's cooking, as most everyone does. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. (Jennifer) Scherrbaum of Presto, PA and Jane (Michael) Cribbs of Greensburg, PA; cherished grandmother of Kara (Brian) Lowe and James Cribbs; great-grandmother of David Lowe; sister of Robert (Josie) Soltis of Pgh., Steve (Georgianna) Soltis of Columbus, OH and the late Jean and her late husband, Richard Carpinelli of Connellsville; sister-in-law of the late J. William (Harriet survives) Scherrbaum. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Pauline was an enthusiastic bridge player and a member of St. Thomas More Church where she volunteered with the Altar Society. She was a classy and elegant woman who was genuinely concerned for others. Pauline lived a long and healthy life and was a beloved friend to many.
