Daughter of the late Dorothy and Thomas Gjindjich; mother of Louann Hosek of Williamsfield, OH, George (Pat) DeBold of Bethel Park, Janice Dunham and Carl DeBold of Pittsburgh and the late Marc DeBold; grandmother of David (Beverly) Hosek of Etna, Lisa (Randy) Gentry of Andover, OH, Jennifer (Jerry) Jenkins of Stafford, VA, Robert Dunham, Christopher and Kevin DeBold of Pittsburgh; great- grandmother of David (DJ), Danielle, Taylor, Tyler, Cody, Shannon and Samantha; sister of the late Ann Sabatino, Mildred Radich, Mary Probed and Nicholas Gynn; aunt of Millicent Palko and Peter Radich. MINELLA ROSEMARIE N. (FARINELLA) Age 86, of South Fayette, peacefully passed away December 2, 2015. Wife of the late Theodore A. Minella; mother of Sandra L. (Ronald) Chaussard and Theodore T. (Catherine) Minella; grandmother of R. Garrett (Diana) Chaussard, Theodore A. Gascoine, Christina Samstag and Renee Hradil; great- grandmother of six; sister of Carol Jean (the late Robert) Snell and JoAnn (Ned) Deforrest. Rosemarie adored her many cousins, nieces and nephews. A 1946 graduate of Carnegie High School, 1948 graduate of Grace Martin Business School, she worked many years as a secretary. A past South Fayette Committee Chairperson, member of Fairview Ladies Auxiliary and Carnegie Women's Club. She loved shopping, dancing, playing cards, her high school reunions and anything Italian. KRANAK JOHN J. Age 93, of Oakmont, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Mary (Ruffner) Kranak; their loving children, Joan (Brian) Meggitt, Brian (Maricel) Kranak and Nancy (Chris) Classen; seven grandchildren; special niece, Jean Li; and several other nieces and nephews. He served in the Army during World War II, and was a draftsman with Westinghouse for 37 years. He was an active man who enjoyed life with many activities, but his favorite was being with his family. HOOFNAGLE LIANE Age 63, of McCandless, passed away at home on December 1, 2015, after a courageous and valiant battle with Cancer of Unknown Primary. Liane was the wonderful life partner, beloved and cherished wife of James; and the extraordinary loving mother and grandmother of Bryan (Denise) Walaschek, grandchildren, Adam, Alex, and Avery; Jesse (Sarah) Walaschek, grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Addison, and Joshua; and stepson, Jamie (Audra) Hoofnagle, grandchildren, Carly and Cooper. Liane is survived by her father, Jack (Linda) Marchetti and was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Marchetti. Before retiring, Liane had worked as an office manager for a dental practice and as a real estate agent for Northwood Realty, McCandless. A lover of life and family, she possessed an exuberant, optimistic, and beautiful esprit de corps whose life was cut short far too soon. REED DONALD CHARLES “DON” Born in 1940, Don Reed served as Missile Combat Crew Commander in the Titan II program and reached the rank of captain in the Air Force. After working for years in the community development department of a local bank, Don opened a furniture restoration and woodworking business. An early member of the Lawrenceville Urban Pioneers, Don was a longtime resident and supporter of the neighborhood. In 2001, he moved his business from his basement on 43rd Street to the Slaughterhouse Gallery & Studios on Butler Street. An active model railroader, martial artist, bicyclist and Rotarian, Don passed away after a nine year battle with cancer. Don is survived by his daughter, Madeline of New York; his sister, Nancy of Florida; and a plethora of friends and extended family members who will always remember him. Friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Don's life on Dec. 12, 2015, at the Goodwill of Southwestern PA, 118 52nd St., Pittsburgh (opens at 10 a.m., program at 10:30). WARCO STANLEY ANDREW “STUSH” Devout Catholic and Family Man. Stanley Andrew “Stush” Warco, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, unexpectedly in his home. He was born November 12, 1926, in Washington the son of the late Frank Andrew and Eva Mikuta Warco. Mr. Warco was a devout Catholic and had a strong adoration for the Blessed Mother. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the ushers club where he enjoyed his role in ushering at Mass. He was employed at Universal Cyclops in Bridgeville for 45 years retiring as a maintenance foreman. Mr. Warco was a 1945 graduate of Trinity High School where he excelled in all sports especially football and track where he played tailback and was a pole vaulter. He also played football for the Podunks football team in the West End area. He was quite an athlete. He served on the Trinity Area School board for 33 years alongside his childhood friend, Paul Belcastro. Mr. Warco served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II receiving the following citations and decorations: Honorable Service Lapel Button, Marine Corps Discharge Button and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175. Mr. Warco also worked at the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home for many years and also for Jack Kirk Livery driving hearse and limousine for many area funeral homes which he sincerely enjoyed. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and enjoyed watching them play. Mr. Warco was a true family man that loved his family very much and took great pride in all of their accomplishments in life. His family will miss him greatly. On September 11, 1948 he married Lois Jane Ritchie Warco who survives. Also surviving are his three sons; S. Timothy “Tim” Warco of Washington, Michael (Deanna) Warco of McMurray and Kevin (Joanne) Warco of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; a bother, Kazimer Warco of Washington; seven grandchildren, Holly Renay Warco, S. Timothy (Allison) Warco II, A.J. Warco, Megan (Ed) Moran, Matthew (Meghan) Warco, Shannon (Lee) Garrett and Alyssa Warco; two great- grandchildren, S. Timothy Warco III and Brennen Gabriel Warco. Mr. Warco was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Walter and Louis; and by two sisters, Julia and Mary Warco. Friends will be received on Monday, December 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in the WARCO - FALVO FUNERAL HOME, INC., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
