
SHILLINGER WAYNE C. Of Monroeville, age 71, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Beloved husband of Josette P. (Flotta) Shillinger for 45 years; cherished father of Tracy (David) Mathews of Plum; loving grandfather of Braden and Abrianna; son of the late Edward Sandy Shillinger; brother of the late Sandra Miller; also survived by aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his pet collie, Beckett. Wayne was a Vietnam War era Army veteran and a retired employee of Mail-Well in Wilkinsburg. He was an exceptional singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose love and passion for music was profound. Wayne performed as lead guitarist for various Pittsburgh bands including The On-Comers, Grant St. Exit, Abbey and Ryjel. He will be greatly missed by his family.
