CANNON J. FRANK Longtime Gibsonia resident, formerly of Oakmont, passed away peacefully, on August 8, 2013, at 94 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Virginia Thompson Cannon; daughter, Jessica; niece, Barbara Dimeling; and many other loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John Vincent Cannon and Sarah Barr Cannon; sister, Jane Cannon Stoecklein; and brothers, John Vincent Cannon, Jr., J. Donald Cannon, T. Barr Cannon, David C. Cannon, and Arthur G. Cannon. Frank served as a 1st Lt. in the US Army from 1942-1946 and graduated from Bucknell University. He retired from Koppers Corporation in 1984 where he served as President of KBW Gasification Systems, a coal gasification joint venture of Koppers and Babcock & Wilcox. He was also a member of Butler Country Club. Friends will be received at JOHN A.
