Glassburn; loving father of George Rowland Glassburn, Jr. and Lee Ann (Robert C.) Glassburn-Bennardo; brother of Leslie A. Glassburn, Ellen (Neil) Silberman and the late Kate (surviving husband Frank) Doroff; son of the late Edward M. and Joan R. Glassburn. He was a retired building superintendent for the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. George was a graduate of Youngstown State University and Fox Chapel High School. He loved his cottage Inglenook at Van Buren Point, NY. Memorial service Tuesday, August 20, 3:00 p.m., Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, 384 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh.
