Sanker (Dee), Joanne Ackerman (Mel) and Albert J. Sanker (Renee); and by her nieces and nephews, Debbie Mistick (David), Kim Ferraro (Bud), Rick Sanker (Becca), Keith Sanker, David V. Sanker, Greg T. Sanker (Kathy), Doug Ackerman (Shelley), Ken Ackerman (Michelle) Mary Beth Ackerman (Eric Borud), Christopher Sanker (Minjoo) and Kevin Sanker (Dana). Aggie was preceded in death by Donald A. Sanker (father), Agnes E. Sanker (mother) and Philip E. Sanker (brother). Aggie was an extremely creative person who owned her own graphic design firm. Aggie was also an avid gardener, scrabble player and crossword puzzle solver. She was a longtime member of St. Basil Catholic church. Following the passing of her mother, Aggie volunteered on a weekly basis at Marian Manor nursing home, bringing bouquets of fresh flowers with every visit to brighten the lives of those in their last days. Aggie was also a volunteer for ALS research. Aggie was loved by all who knew her for her sense of humor and caring nature. Aggie was always willing to share her strong opinions. JOSEPH BULLICK "JOE" Age 87, of Wexford, passed on May 25, 2019. Son of George and Elizabeth (Evans) Bullick. Beloved husband for 66 years to Emma (Hall). Father of Stephen (Diana) Bullick and Elizabeth (Bill) Bender. Proud grandfather of Gayle (Joe) Tarowsky, Billy (Carrie) Bender, Lori Bender, and Scott Baret. Brother-in-law to Dorothy (the late Clarence) Thomas, Betty (the late Merle) Sumpter, Midge (Jim) Elser, and the late Vera and Roy Lockhart. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe enjoyed life and always sought ways to help others. As a lifelong member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Joe loved serving our Lord, especially as Eucharistic Minister and choir member. He loved baseball, and was a former player and manager of the Warrendale baseball team. His friendships were far reaching in the United States as well as globally, as he was an honorary member of the New Ross County Wexford Pipe Band in Ireland, visiting the Vatican with them for the closing of the Millennium Gates, and being instrumental in arranging for them to perform in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pittsburgh. An avid historian, Joe was the founder of the North Allegheny History Museum, which led to the construction of the McCandless/Northern Allegheny Heritage Center. Joe loved to write, having authored two books and a monthly Town Crier article in the Northern Connections magazine. An employee of North Allegheny School District for 46 years, Joe began as a custodian, eventually becoming Supervisor of Custodial Services for the school district. Throughout his career, Joe was involved with students, coaching the North Allegheny girls' golf team for 12 years and the girls' softball team for 17 years. He was born in Donora, PA. Mr. Weiss earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude from Washington and Jefferson where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Weiss was a former partner in the law firm of Doepken Keevican & Weiss, LLP, where he concentrated in corporate and commercial matters. During his career he served as General Counsel and Secretary to the Boards of Directors of three publically-held corporations: L.B. Foster Company, Rouge Steel Corporation, and MK Rail Corporation and has held similar positions with several privately-held companies. He was also Managing Director of Patient Centered Solutions, LLC. An active participant in many diverse civic and community organizations, Mr. Weiss was inducted into the Ringgold High School Hall of Fame. He served as the past National Chairman of the American Diabetes Association; past President of the Allegheny Tax Society; past Chairman of the Tri-State New Leadership Cabinet and local and national cabinets of Israel Bonds. He had previously served on the Board of Directors of Vision Benefits of America, the United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, Beth El Congregation of the South Hills, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, and many other organizations. Beloved husband of Catherine Zottola; father of his most cherished daughter Julie Didiano (David) and grandfather of Nina and Mauro Didiano; step-father of Matthew Mallery (Jennifer) and Erik Mallery and grandfather of Avery, Camryn and Rowan; brother of Anthony Zottola (Diane), Linda Boland (Richard), Raymond Zottola (Cynthia), and Lisa Raines (Elester); also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Zottola. Following in his father Albert Zottola's footsteps in the Railroad Industry, Paul started at the railroad at the age of 18 at Conrail's water treatment plant. Through dedication, tireless work ethic and advancement, he retired after 42 years from Norfolk Southern as Regional Manager of Environmental Operations. His job covered a 22 state operation responsible for ensuring corporate compliance, program development, remedial and construction projects for managing boots on the ground preparedness and response to field operations emergency situations. Paul's life centered around his Family. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, music, playing the bass guitar, and was an accomplished artist. His greatest passion was attending his grandchildren's many activities; he was the most loyal follower of his grandson Mauro's baseball team. Paul was a devout Christian who lived his life by example. Even when tested by life's most challenging and hopeless moments, Paul's passion for Christ never wavered. He was our anchor and will be sadly missed. MARY CATHERINE (MELLETT) MULROY Age 95, of Swissvale, on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Born July 29, 1923, in Braddock, PA, daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Gannon) Mellett. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Mulroy; loving mother of John (Lyn) Mulroy of Squirrel Hill, Marianne Mulroy of O'Hara and Kevin (Lynne) Mulroy of West Deer; loving grandmother of Samuel and Nina Mulroy; sister of the late John, Daniel, William, Nora Hanley, and Martin Mellett; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary worked many years for Bell of PA and AT&T as a telephone operator. Mary enjoyed traveling, Irish scone baking and Irish knitting in her retirement years.
