Marjorie Ann Nickel was born October 13, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Frank G. and Colette B. (Gaugler) Nickel. She had two older brothers, Frank and Robert, and one younger brother, Bernard, who died tragically at a young age. After the early death of his wife, Marjorie's father remarried. He and her stepmother had two more children, Marjorie's sister, Donna, and her brother, Albert. Her brothers Robert, Frank, and Albert have predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Donna, and also leaves several nieces and nephews. DIANE B. MOHR Age 70, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Much beloved partner of Donald W. Ickert, daughter of the late Alex Mohr and the late Katherine Feduska Mohr; she is also survived by cousin, Arthur (Marianne) Smelas and her little sister, Rebekah Lyons. Diane was a graduate of Duquesne University. She began her working life as a French teacher. A college semester in France stimulated her passion and her profession. Diane's work in travel took her to the Chicago Board of Trade. Later she returned to the Pittsburgh area to care for her mother and developed a successful brick and mortar travel agency. More recently, she arranged fabulous trips and destination weddings through her specialty travel company, Enriching Journeys. Always concerned for the welfare of those around her, Diane was a dedicated Board member and volunteer. She was especially devoted to Big Brothers Big Sisters. She served on the Boards of the Bulgarian Macedonian National Educational and Cultural Center and Amen Corner. Her gardening skills were very evident on the streetside Uptown Garden in Mt. Lebanon. Diane was lively, artistic and generous. She loved music and the performing arts, and especially traveling with Don. (LaCava) Naccarato. He graduated from North Catholic High School, then went on to graduate from the University of Dayton. He worked as an insurance agent for over 30 years and retired in 2007. Sal s lifelong love of sports led him to coach in various school, recreational, and church leagues across Beaver County. He coached hundreds of young and adult men and women in baseball, football, basketball and softball. He was widely known across the community as a friendly, warm and fun person to be around. He was committed to his Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Monica's Church in Chippewa. He is survived by his two sons, Mark (Rose) Naccarato of Nashville, TN and Michael (Katharine) Naccarato of VA; and five grandchildren, Isabella, Karina, Sophia, Lucas, and Gregory Naccarato. DONALD JOSEPH FISHER An East Liberty native and businessman since the age of 20, Don Fisher passed on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. with family at his side. True to his demeanor, he strongly battled Dementia until his calling. Family and friends meant everything to Don. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" of 65 years; Donald, Jr. (Cathy); Ronald (Barbara); dedicated primary caregiver, Susan; Christine Michaux (deceased husband, "Doc"); Jeffrey (Tina); and Kevin (Anna). Don is also survived by 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Don was the youngest son of the late Emma and John Fisher and is survived by his sister, Geraldine DeRubeis (deceased husband, Anthony). Deceased siblings are John (Charlotte), Esther Orman (Lloyd), William (survived by Dolores), George, and Edward (Mary Lou). Don was co-founder and President of E.R. & D.J. Fisher, Inc., a business that he and his brother Ed grew in the 1970s/early 1980s to become one of the largest non-union masonry businesses in Pittsburgh. What separated Don from most entrepreneurs was his selfless demeanor and personal relationships with his masons and crew. With the help of his family and closest friends, he built a camp in Cook Forest which became a weekend "get-a-way" for many over the years. The great times and memories there are unending, and it's the place his family will assure his legacy lives on... Services will be private.
