FRANCIS P. FERRAGONIO, JR. On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, “Officer” Francis P. Ferragonio Jr., loving husband and father, passed away at age 64. Fran was born November 15, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA to Francis and Madeline (Scuro) Ferragonio. He graduated from Plum High School in 1973 and went on to obtain his Bachelor's in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh. Later on, Fran went back to school at Point Park University to obtain a second Bachelor's in Secondary Education of Social Studies. November 11, 1989, Fran married the apple of his eye, Patricia "Patty" Barbarino and then went on to raise two daughters, Lauren and Sarah. Officer Fran served the Penn Hills Community as a police officer for 25 years (F.O.P. Lodge 91), and as a history teacher at Linton Middle School for seven years. Fran wore many hats throughout his life and put his heart into everything he did; paper boy, Community Market, police officer, teacher, hypnotist, driving instructor, tax collector, and family man. Anyone that knew Fran knew how proud he was of his family, especially his two daughters, Lauren and Sarah. Fran loved collecting Snoopy and Jiminy Cricket memorabilia, spending time with his family, learning new hobbies like ventriloquism, and helping others. To know Fran was to love him, and you never left his company without being a little bit happier and a little bit wiser. Fran was preceded in death by his father, Fran, Sr.; mother, Madeline "Mal"; and father-in-law, Orazio "Orrie". He is survived by his wife, Patty; his two daughters, Lauren and Sarah; his brother, Anthony (wife, Kathy); sister, Annette; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, siblings-in-law, and friends who he treated like family. MARGARET B. McKEAN Age 101, of Coraopolis, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the home of her daughter while under hospice care. Margaret was born June 6, 1917, in Coraopolis, PA, the daughter of the late Kathryn (Sandusky) and Robert A. Damits. She was the oldest of four siblings and preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, James W. McKean. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marge and Fred Brodbeck of Beaver, PA; son and daughter-in-law, James and Linda McKean of Mt. Lebanon, PA; son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen McKean of Uniontown, OH; along with six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and special niece, Sharon Vogel. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James; sister, Mary Jarsulic; and brothers, Robert Damits and George Damits. IRWIN IZENSON Of Delray Beach Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh. Passed away May 30, 2019. He was born on June 16, 1936 to the late Morris and late Frances Izenson. Irwin owned and operated Specialty Luggage until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Ann Goldberg Izenson, who he was married to for over 60 years. He is also survived by daughter, Mindy and her husband, Philip Rosenberg and their children, Andrew, Micah and Jack. He is also survived by son, Jeff and his wife, Joanna and their children, Eli and Oscar. Also surviving are brother's, David and Howard and their wives, Cathy and Phyllis; sister-in-law, Joanne Goldberg (late Marc Goldberg) and many nieces and nephews. Irv's pride and joy were his five grandsons. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Marcel, Mark, Julie and Harriet. MICHAEL R. MISZUK Age 80, of Hampton Township, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Born June 7, 1938 in Naliboki, Poland, he was the son of the late Adolf and Josefa (Dubicka) Miszuk. Michael was a Dental Equipment Repairman with Patterson Dental Company. He is survived by his three children, Teresa (the late Tim) Estes of Phoenix, AZ, Kristine (Charles) Subosits of Upper St. Clair and Robert (Carolyn) Miszuk of Marco Island, FL; eight grandchildren, Evan (Carly), Tia, John, Peter (Saige), Kay, Jacob and Benjamin and his dearest companion, Regina Kirschmann of Hampton Township. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters in Poland.
