SCHLEGEL H. KAYE Age 81, of Hummelstown, PA, formerly of Greensburg and Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2015, in her home. She was born December 18, 1933, in Greensburg, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Amelia Gordon. Kaye graduated from Greensburg HS and attended Seton Hill Univ. She had worked in Hollywood as a tap dancer and later an airline stewardess. She was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey. Mrs. Schlegel is survived by a son, Gordon (wife Anne) Schlegel; and granddaughter, Kayla Schlegel, all of Cincinnati, OH; and sister-in-law, Ruth Gordon of Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Schlegel; and brother, Robert Gordon. There will be no visitation or viewing. Graveside interment and services will be in Arlington National Cemetery. DeLUCA ANTHONY MICHAEL Of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on January 17, 2015, after a three year courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Paula DeLuca; sons, Michael (Sharon), Kenneth (Cathy) and Gregory (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Adrianne (Stephen), Michael, Alexis (August), Perry, Olivia, Dominic, and Christina; along with great-grandchildren, Rylee and Stephen; he is also survived by his brother, Ronald; sister, Joyce (Vince) Ionadi; and brother-in-law, James Coppolella. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances “Cookie” DeLuca; and sister, Janet Coppolella. Anthony grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where he worked for Nickles Bakery for 32 years. He retired in 2000 and moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL in 2006. He took most pride in his family and his faith. Family was everything to Anthony and his pride was evident when he spoke of them. Anthony's smile lit up a room and his words of encouragement helped many. He will be missed by many as his love was felt by all. Family and friends are welcome to join the family in a celebration of life on February 6, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. at St. Barbara's Catholic Church Social Hall in Harrison City, PA. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015, 11 a.m. in St. Januarius Catholic Church, Plum Boro, PA. ALLISON BYRON LEE III Age 71, of Hanover Township since 1976, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Ohio Valley Hospital. He was born in Mineola, NY on June 26, 1943, son of the late Roberta (Kuciak) and Byron Lee Allison, Jr. Beloved husband for 49 years to Ruby (Hogge) Allison; brother of JoAnn Allison of Barrington, IL and Bruce Allison of Hoffman Estates, IL; uncle of Kate Allison, also of Illinois; and Lucy the Yellow Lab. Lee was a 1961 graduate of West High School, Davenport, Iowa and obtained his Bachelor's in Science in Forest Products in 1965 from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He retired in 2003 as safety manager of Koppers Industries. Lee enjoyed old cars, especially his 66 Plymouth Satellite, travel and pets. He was a member of Ohio Valley Mopar Club. Youts; father of Rebecca (Thomas) Jacobsen of Warrington, PA and Kevin Youts of Beverly, MA; brother of Denise Baker of Ashville, NC; grandfather of Lauren, Matthew, and Ryan Jacobsen. Beloved wife of the late William I. Mudd, Jr.; devoted mother of Christopher S. Mudd of Worcester, MA, Rebecca Mudd Lewis of McCandless, PA and the late William I. Mudd III; loving grandmother of Eric G. Lewis, Jennifer L. Lewis and Stephen M. Mudd; sister of the late Merrill F. Long, Jr.; also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews. Rachel was a faithful servant of the Lord, a descendent of Henry Muhlenberg, founder of the Lutheran Church in the U.S., and a direct descendent of Conrad Weiser, noted emissary between the colonies and the American Indians during the French and Indian War. She filled the lives of those around her with calligraphy, ikebana, decorating Japanese dolls, her love of music and cooking.
