She was born October 11, 1913 in Wilmerding, daughter of the late Richard and Clara Faller McGregor. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, David F. Buck; a daughter, Lorraine Peacock; and two sisters, Ruth Kurtz and Doris Lovett. A resident of Beatty Pointe, Monroeville. Helen will be remembered for her sense of humor and love for bridge. Helen is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Ed) Olejkowski; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lewis Panaia, Sr. of the residence. She worked at Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock, and volunteered for the Slippery Rock Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard. Also surviving are her three daughters who loved her very much, Ivy B. Ziegler (Joseph) of Rosedale, PA, Colleen M. Quinn of Oakmont, PA, and Erin L. Quinn of Oakmont; a stepdaughter, Debbie Daily (Larry) of Virginia; a stepson, Joseph L. Panaia, Jr. of South Dakota; and five step-grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Joey, Morgan and Isabella. HARDT PERRY ELMER 85, of Allison Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, after a long illness. He was born on September 11, 1928, and was a lifelong resident of Hampton Township. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna (Datt) Hardt; two sisters, Ruth Sirney and Mary Hardt; and three brothers, Russell, Norman, and Marvin. Perry attended Hampton High School, where he played basketball and was a pitcher for the baseball team. After graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Marion (Chalmers). They were together 58 years, until Marion passed away in 2004. Perry and Marion were proud graduates of the third class ever to graduate from Hampton High School. They worked for the Hampton Township School District for a combined total of 68 years, he as a custodian and bus driver, and she as a cook. Perry took great pride in fixing anything that was broken at the school. Outside of work, he was an expert bowler in local leagues (having once rolled a 289), an enthusiastic gardener (responsible for several prize-winning pumpkins), and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and relatives at his camp in Marienville. Perry is survived by his daughter, Kathy Moyer, of Allison Park; and son, Ron (Lorraine), of Stow, Ohio; six grandchildren, Allison Hardt, of Baltimore, Maryland, Kristin Pearson, of Baltimore, Maryland, Jaclyn Moyer, of Alexandria, Virginia, Erin Moyer, of Allison Park, Hillary Hardt Stroud, of Akron, Ohio, and Jeffrey Moyer, of Allison Park; three great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Meredith, and Logan; and his beloved dog, Ming. FELT RUTH ISABELLE Mrs. Felt died Monday, November 11, 2013, at her son's house in Taos, New Mexico, just shy of her 95th birthday. Mrs. Felt was born December 31, 1918 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of James F. Sullivan and Clara Sullivan (Schneider). She lived in Niles, Ohio until 1941, when she married Lt. Robert L. Felt, USNR of Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Felt was a metallurgical engineer. After service during the Second World War, they moved to Pittsburgh, PA where Mrs. Felt lived until she moved to Taos, New Mexico, in August of this year. She worked for Sears and Roebuck, becoming one of the first female department heads. After retirement, the Felts loved traveling to Israel, Turkey and Egypt and dedicated themselves to their grandchildren. Mrs. Felt was a 54-year member of the Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church where she was active in Sunday School Class, and was frequently found working in the church kitchen. Until the time of her move, she was cooking meals to raise money for missions. She was also active with the Salvation Army. Mr. and Mrs. Felt were recipients of the Booth Award for exceptional service to the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011 and is survived by her son, Robert Felt, Jr.; and his wife, Martha, of Taos, New Mexico; and her daughter, Rebecca Bickel, M.D.; and Reverend Dr. Bruce Bickel of Pittsburgh, PA. She had four grandsons, Kristopher, Robert, Dylan, and William; and a granddaughter, Amelia. She would have become a great- grandmother in January of 2014. There will be a Memorial Service at the United Presbyterian Church, Washington Road, Pittsburgh 15216. A light lunch and fellowship will follow in the Church Hall.
